Movement has always been an integral part of my life. Like many young children, I began gymnastics at the age of six. Eventually, I became a rhythmic gymnast soon thereafter, practicing 5-6 times per week after school. My team and I made it to the Junior Olympics! Soon after, I hurt my back and had to quit the sport.
Living life after being a pro-athlete was challenging, and going through my teenage years while dealing with mental health issues was even more difficult. At the age of 19, I rediscovered my passion for fitness, which is the greatest gift I ever received. My love for fitness improved my mood, helped me make peace with my body, and made me feel comfortable in my skin.
Initially, I was solely focused on burning as many calories as possible and losing weight through cardio workouts. However, my perspective changed when I discovered the Kettlebell. Kettlebells fascinated me because they are the only exercise modality that train every quality: strength, endurance, mobility, power, and speed. As I began training with Kettlebells and learning the skills, I stopped caring so much about the calories burned and the weight lost. Instead, I focused on how much more weight I could lift. My mindset shifted to becoming "stronger" rather than becoming "thinner." I also learned that Kettlebells can help release stored trauma and stress in the body. This tidbit sparked my devotion for "trauma-informed" weightlifting and somatics, and I am thrilled to share this with my clients. The Kettlebell is a powerful tool that connects your body to your mind, unlike anything I have ever seen.

As a coach, I work with women of all ages and fitness levels. I love working with athletes and retired athletes to provide them with the positive experience I wish I had during my athletic career. I also love guiding people starting their fitness journey for the first time and don't know what to do, how to do it, or why to do it. I use data-driven methods to personalize and individualize every session. I understand that everybody is unique and dynamic, and I respond to where your body is, ensuring you achieve your fitness goals.
